Green Mountain Guild employs thoughtfully cultivated compositions, rich harmony, lyric melodies and a cinematic narrative. The songs are centered around the vocals with a warm bed of keys, upright bass and drums to keep the groove rolling. Haunting, dreamy and fluid, the ensemble’s sound is timeless without being a throwback. Violin and tenor sax weave in threads of old-timey, neoclassical and bebop which inevitably push at the boundaries of many genres.
