TECHNE! is a DJ and visual art project started in 2019 by Andrew Mark. Growing up in Portland area Andrew, started as a mobile DJ playing as a middle schooler in his middle school dances. Later graduating to private events, small festivals in the BC area and raging dorm parties at his small liberal arts university in Canada. This work in music over eight years would eventually culminate into TECNE! the greek root of technology and a name chosen to represent the ethos of the project bright, punchy, sarcastic, and reflective.
